Financed cars

If your vehicle is financed you will need to provide a current letter from the financier which should include the payout figure, payout to date and payment method.

Note: If the amount owing is less than your offer then the balance will be paid to you via electronic funds transfer and if the payout is greater you will need to have the gap in clear funds at the point of sale.

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)

Prior to inspection, our consultant will request your vehicles VIN for an online security check on the PPSR system.

The VIN is a 17 character unique serial number and it’s located on the registration certificate, compliance plates.

Selling your car checklist

Here’s a few things you will need to sell your car.

  1. You will be asked to provide the vehicles (VIN) Vehicle identification number.
  2. The registration certificate or similar proof of ownership
  3. The registered owners drivers licence or similar photo ID.
